I haven't seen a thread discussing this since I've been here but I just have a small theory that makes sense to me about Zoan types.
As we all know our favorite reindier Chopper is a Zoan type user.
If we all think back to impel down where we saw 4 very powerful Zoan types (Minotaurus Minozebra Minokoala and Minorhino) that was stated to be regular people with zoan powers that went beyond their normal strengths but in turn lost a significant amount of intelligence.
