is this an example of COC

Was it COC that Luffy & Monet had when Mihawk @ marinefold & Zoro @ punk hazard were about to slash them?

My own undastanding of COC is that it makes you aware of where ya enemy is and not see in future what ya enemy intends to do to you
OR
Is it that Mihawk & now Zoro have a special ability in their eyes that makes you see what they intend to do to you before they even do it?
